Rupert Dullz isn't very happy. His grandmother's coffus is getting worse, school is boring and there's nothing to do on his days off but rake up endless piles of leaves. Everything in Graysland is, well, gray, and every day is just like the one before it, and the one before that.

The reader will love his on and off again optimism, fantastical way of seeing the world, and inventiveness. The world that Rupert steps into is in danger, he must find a way to help. This book will remind the reader of his/her childhood. The author is very detailed and describes the events and environment to the point where the reader can picture everything actually happening and see the world through Rupert's eyes. The reader will wait in anticipation for the next book in this series.
